This conference is organized by CyberHawaii with support and speakers provided by the FBI Honolulu Office, the Hawaii State Office of Homeland Security, the University of Hawaii and other federal and state agencies.


The conference is in person only. No online/virtual attendance is offered. This event is not open to the media. There is no charge to attend the conference.

Keynote Addresses

Day 1: David Porter, FBI Honolulu Special Agent in Charge since January 2025, will open the conference with a keynote address on June 23.


Prior to joining the FBI's Honolulu Office, Porter served as the Chief of Staff for the Deputy Director at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C.


He also served as Assistant Section Chief in the FBI's Cyber Division in 2019, leading joint investigative operations and interagency policy engagement with the National Security Council.

Day 2: Vincent Hoang, Chief Information Security Officer with the State of Hawaii will deliver the keynote address on June 24.


He joined the Office of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) in December 2016 and is responsible for establishing cybersecurity standards for the executive branch and ensuring that system operations stay current with best practices.


Hoang served at Hawaiian Telcom and Bank of Hawaii in Honolulu; Munger, Tolles and Olson in Los Angeles; and other organizations.
